MEA confirmed that two Indian nationals were killed and 10 others injured in an Iranian drone strike in Oman's Sohar city on Friday.
In the first Indian fatalities on land since the Iran-Israel war erupted on February 28, two Indian nationals were killed and 10 others injured in an Iranian drone strike in Oman’s Sohar city on Friday.
Addressing an inter-ministerial media brief on the Middle East crisis, Joint secretary (Gulf) in the Ministry of External Affairs Aseem Mahajan confirmed that two Indian nationals were killed in a drone strike in Oman on Friday.
“I wish to share with you an incident that happened in Sohar city today. There was an attack and in this incident two Indian nationals have died. We express our deepest condolences to their families,” Mahajan said, without providing specific details of the attack.
