Chennai to face a scheduled power cut on February 8, 2025, from 9 AM to 2 PM as TANGEDCO carries out maintenance work.
Chennai: Residents in certain areas of Chennai will experience a planned power shutdown on Saturday, February 8, 2025, as the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) conducts essential maintenance work.
According to TANGEDCO, the power supply will be suspended from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday.
The electricity board stated that the shutdown is necessary for routine maintenance to improve the overall power system. However, the power supply may be restored earlier if the work is completed ahead of time.
