Kasaba police arrest two migrant labourers for attempted sexual assault on minor girl in Kozhikode city.
The Kasaba police on Wednesday (April 30, 2025) took into custody two migrant labourers who allegedly attempted to sexually assault a minor girl at Chalappuram in Kozhikode city. The two were identified as Faizal Anvar, 36, and Iman Ali, 18.
The police said the girl was targeted by the two while she was on her way home after attending tuition classes on Monday (April 28, 2025) evening. She was allegedly dragged by them to an isolated location in the area, the police added.
The 16-year-old girl who managed to escape from the grip approached the Kasaba police for action. The two were natives of Bihar who had come to the city for construction work, the police said.
