TGNPDCL bags ‘Governance Now’ award

The Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd (TGNPDCL) has bagged three Governance Now 12th PSU Award 2026 in the high-impact categories - Operational Excellence, Automation and Digital Technology - cementing its position as a frontrunner in power distribution innovation.
According to officials of the Discom, the award was present to the utility at an event held in New Delhi. It was received by Company Secretary of the Discom K. Venkatesham.
The trophies were was handed over to Chairman and Managing Director of the Discom K. Varun Reddy at its corporate office in Hanmakonda on Monday. “The award is not just a corporate milestone but it’s a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of every employee of TGNPDCL,” the CMD said adding that “it reflects our collective resolve to harness technology and place the consumer at the heart of everything we do.”
