A division bench comprising Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice C.M. Poonacha passed the order on the petition filed by Rajajinagar 5th Block Residents’ Welfare Association, Benglauru.
The petition noted that the school authorities failed to address the problems faced by the residents, even though the association brought to the notice of the principal of the school, in 2023, details about the hardships caused due to the sound emitted by the loudspeakers installed in the school premises and the parking of school buses in residential areas for long hours.
The petitioner has also claimed that the school has constructed a new building, allegedly in the buffer area of a stormwater drain sans any approval.
The association has also complained that the police and the civic authorities have failed to take necessary action despite various representations submitted on the problems faced by the residents due to negligence on the part of the school authorities.
