
Seeman slams BJP for ignoring Tamil freedom fighters

In a statement, he said that the BJP did not have any right to reject freedom fighters from Tamil Nadu when it played no significant role in the freedom struggle.
Naam Tamilar Katchi coordinator Seeman on Monday criticised the BJP-led Central government for ‘rejecting’ State’s the tableau for the Republic Day parade, which reportedly consisted of freedom fighters from Tamil Nadu.
In a statement, he said that the BJP did not have any right to reject freedom fighters from Tamil Nadu when it played no significant role in the freedom struggle.

The High Court of Karnataka on Tuesday ordered the issue of a notice to the State government on a PIL petition, which had complained about disturbances caused to people residing in the localities around the National Public School situated in Rajajinagar 5th block due to use of loudspeakers with high volume in the school and parking of school buses in residential areas.
