The water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Thursday stood at 123.70 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 1,883 cusecs and a discharge of 1,300 cusecs. The water level in Vaigai dam stood at 57.48 feet (71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,756 cusecs and a discharge of 69 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 5,408 mcft.
