Police Observer Sushant Kumar Saxena conducts surprise inspection at Shencottai police station, reviewing warrants and security arrangements ahead of elections.
Sushant Kumar Saxena, Police Observer for all five Assembly constituencies in Tenkasi district, on Monday made a surprise inspection at Shencottai police station.
After checking the police station records for execution of non-bailable warrants, Mr. Sushant interacted with the Station House Officer to understand the status of execution of pending non-bailable warrants. The 2005-batch Indian Police Service Officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre was keen on the history-sheeters out on bail and other criminals under the jurisdiction of Shencottai police station limits.
He also got information from the police personnel there about the security arrangements made in the sensitive areas under their jurisdiction ahead of the election and the bandobust to be done on the day of polling.
Mr. Sushant checked the firearms deposited in the police station after the election model code of conduct came into force.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
