CCB arrests three drug peddlers in Mangaluru, seizing ₹2.5 lakh worth of MDMA and other valuables.

Sleuths of the Central Crime Branch of Mangaluru police arrested three drug peddlers and seized from the accused 26 gm of MDMA, worth ₹2.5 lakh, on Sunday.
The accused have been identified as Hyder, 53, Mohammed Sajad, 29, both from Thokkottu, and Jaison Menezes, 26, of Shirva in Kapu taluk of Udupi district.
The police received a tip-off about the sale of drugs to students and other consumers in Pumpwell-Yekkur area using an autorickshaw, a statement noted. The CCB team traced the autorickshaw and arrested the three drug peddlers.
Apart from seizing 26 gm of MDMA, the police seized ₹37,000 in cash, five mobile phones and the autorickshaw. The team has launched a search to nab other persons who were allegedly associated with the accused.
