
Puducherry election: BJP Puducherry unit president files nomination from Raj Bhavan

BJP Puducherry president V. P Ramalingam files nomination for Raj Bhavan, joined by Union Minister Mandaviya and Khushbu Sundar.
BJP Puducherry unit president V. P. Ramalingam filed nomination papers in Raj Bhavan Assembly constituency on Monday. He was accompanied by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and BJP Tamil Nadu unit vice-president Khushbu Sundar. Party workers took out a procession before Mr. Ramalingam filed the papers at Mairie Building (Pondicherry Municipality office). The Raj Bhavan constituency was contested by the BJP’s ally, the All India N. R. Congress in the 2021 Assembly polls.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
