The water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Thursday stood at 118.05 feet (maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 100 cusecs and a discharge of 100 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 53.02 ft. (71 ft.) with an inflow of 33 cusecs and a discharge of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 3,730 mcft. Thekkadi received 7.4 mm and Mullaperiyar dam 1.6 mm of rainfall in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Thursday.
