(the maximum level is 71 ft.) with nil inflow and a discharge of 72 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 2,243 mcft. Mullaperiyar dam recorded a rainfall of 16 mm, Thekkadi 5.4 mm and Gudalur 1.2 mm in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
