Water level in Periyar dam on Tuesday stood at 137.60 feet (maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 3,244 cusecs and a discharge of 2,077 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 59.38 ft. (71 ft.) with an inflow of 2,218 cusecs and a discharge of 632 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 8,381 mcft.
