Victoria Public Hall in Chennai may soon become museum

The Greater Chennai Corporation is exploring the possibility of converting Victoria Public Hall into a museum. It is also exploring the possibility of conducting a sound and light show in the heritage building.
Corporation Commissioner Gagandeep Singh Bedi said a 10-member committee of heritage experts had been formed to finalise all aspects of restoration of Victoria Public Hall. “Various options are being explored. But right now, we are in the process of getting the estimation of the Victoria Public Hall restoration and we will take this up under the ,” said Mr. Bedi.
