Yashoda Hospitals-Hitech City is hosting a two-day international conference and live workshop titled ‘The Most Advanced Interventional Cardiology’, starting Saturday (June 14). The event, aimed at showcasing the latest breakthroughs in the treatment of heart diseases, drew participation from over 500 cardiologists and medical professionals from across India and abroad. The conference was inaugurated by G.S. Rao, managing director of Yashoda Hospitals. In his opening address, Dr. Rao highlighted the significance of the conference, which includes sessions on preventive cardiology, innovative therapies for high cholesterol and advanced interventional techniques such as intra-vascular imaging, laser-assisted angioplasty, rotablation and orbital atherectomy, all used for plaque modification during complex angioplasty procedures.

“Walk for Equality was aimed at creating a movement to crush the forces attempting to divide the people along religious line, said Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) leader Vaiko. Concluding his 140-kilometre ‘Samathuva nadai payanam’ from Tiruchi to Madurai on Monday, Mr. Vaiko said, “The Hindutva forces are actively attempting to drive a wedge between communities through various incidents, most notably the Thirupparankundram deepam controversy, using identity-based politics to achieve their divisive motives.”
