JSP chief Pawan Kalyan urges those who love Pakistan to leave India, emphasizes unity against terrorism.
People who love Pakistan are free to leave India and go and live in Pakistan, Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said.
After paying tributes to the people who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terrorist attack at the party office here on Tuesday (April 30), Mr. Pawan Kayan said: “If you love Pakistan, go live in Pakistan. When India is attacked, we must stand by our country, not by Pakistan.”
The bullets fired in Kashmir have shaken the entire nation, it is not right to bury the truth under the guise of secularism, he added. The entire country must unite to eliminate terrorism. Kashmir will forever remain an integral part of India, he asserted.
“In a nation with diverse traditions and ideologies, it is incredibly challenging to govern with consensus — especially for someone in the position of Prime Minister. We must offer our support to such leadership. Rather than inciting conflict, we should speak responsibly. Where necessary, we must step forward and offer our strength. This is our duty as a partner in the NDA alliance,” he said.
The JSP leader said an ex gratia of ₹50 lakh would be given to the family of Jana Sena worker Madhusudana Rao who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. The JSP leader said the terrorist attack in Pahalgam was an assault on the integrity of our nation. “When 26 people are killed based on religion, the pseudo-secularists claim that they weren’t killed because of faith. There is no need for compassion towards terrorists who cruelly shot people after asking about their religion. India is a soft nation, but we can no longer afford to be merciful towards terrorists. They must be eliminated without mercy,” he said, referring to the grief suffered by kith and kin of retired SBI employee Chandramouli from Visakhapatnam and Madhusudhan, who lost their lives in Pahalgam.
Asserting that Kashmir is an integral part of India and will forever remain so Mr. Pawan Kalyan said no one can claim that Kashmir has nothing to do with us. “Whatever happens anywhere in the country, its tremors reach us as well. An average person might not feel the need to care about such issues, but as a political party, we must. One cannot pretend that unrest in Myanmar won’t affect them,” the Deputy CM told Jana Sena party cadre.
“Rohingyas, who fled from Myanmar, are present in Andhra Pradesh too. When we are protective of even two cents of land we own, how careful must we be about our country’s borders? If national borders are neglected, these are the consequences we face,” he added.
