Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana said that there is a growing tendency to disregard and even disrespect the Court orders by the executive which is supposed to assist and co-operate for the rule of law to prevail in the nation.
Justice Ramana was delivering the ‘Lavu Venkateswarlu 5th Endowment Lecture’ on ‘Indian Judiciary-Future Challenges’ at the Siddhartha Engineering College in Vijayawada on Sunday.
In the detailed lecture highlighting the challenges before the judiciary, Justice Ramana said that ‘non-cooperative executive’ is one of the concerns.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
