Temperatures soar above 40°C in 13 Telangana districts, with the highest at 40.7°C in Kaddam Peddur, Nirmal.
Temperatures have crossed 40°C degrees in 13 districts of Telangana. The highest of 40.7°C was recorded in Kaddam Peddur of Nirmal followed by 40.6°C in Bela in Adilabad and Rebbena in Kumaran Bheem Asifabad, 40.5°C in Chunchupally in Bhadradri Kothagudem, according to Telangana Development Planning Society’s bulletin on temperatures recorded from Wednesday (March 12, 2025) morning to 8.30 a.m. of Thursday.
It added that 40.4°C was recorded in Nennel of Mancherial, Wazeed of Mulugu and Kotgiri of Nizamabad; 40.3°C in Korutla of Jagtial, Vemulapalle of Nalgonda, Anthergoan of Pedapalli; 40.2°C In Mutharam Mahadevpur of Jayashankar Bhupalaplli and 40.1°C in Banswada Kamareddy and Madhira Khammam.
In Hyderabad, 38.6°C was recorded in Asifanagar, 39.7°C in Moinabad to Rangareddy and 38.9°C in Ghatkesar, Medchal-Malkajgiri

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
