Telangana forms a Cabinet Sub-Committee to implement a 99-day action plan for improved governance and policy execution.
The Telangana government constituted a Cabinet Sub-Committee to prepare and implement a 99-day action plan across various departments of the State, aimed at expediting governance and policy execution.
The Sub-Committee will be headed by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallua and consists of senior Cabinet Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Irrigation Minister; Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Information Technology Minister; and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Revenue Minister. The orders were issued on Wednesday (February 26, 2026).
The Sub-Committee was tasked with preparing a comprehensive department-wise action plan to be implemented within a 99-day timeframe. The objective is to ensure focused execution of priority programmes and improve administrative efficiency.
The Principal Secretary, Planning Department, will serve as the Convenor of the committee. Additionally, the Principal Secretary, Finance Department, along with Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of the departments concerned, will participate in the Committee’s meetings.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
