Spaces at Silver Anklet Flatted Factory Complex will be allocated as per guidelines, says Minister R. Rajendran in Salem

Tourism Minister allocates spaces for silver anklet manufacturers, emphasizing industrial growth and job creation in Salem.
Spaces would be allocated to silver anklet manufacturers in accordance with guidelines, Tourism Minister R. Rajendran said on Monday.
The Minister undertook an inspection of the Silver Anklet Flatted Factory Complex at Ariyagoundampatti and Print Cluster at Seelanaickenpatti, which Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated on March 25.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Rajendran said that the Chief Minister was committed to industrial growth and was providing the necessary infrastructure to support it. “Constructed at a cost of ₹25.34 crore on 99,346 sq. ft., the complex would result in 2,000 jobs directly and 4,000 jobs indirectly. “Spaces for the manufacturers would be allocated as per government guidelines. Similarly, the Salem Print Cluster constructed at a cost of ₹13.46 crore on 1.02 acres of land, would benefit more than 1,000 people in Salem and nearby districts involved in the printing profession. Apart from Sivakasi, Krishnagiri, and Hosur, Salem also has a print cluster,” Mr. Rajendran added.
Expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing industrial infrastructure in Salem, the Minister said that the industrial estate in Umayalpuram, which spreads over 20.07 acres, will provide jobs to 500 people directly and 1,000 people indirectly.
Later, in a function held at Kottagoundampatti, the minister inaugurated 12 scheme works worth ₹1.62 crore at Omalur Union Panchayat. In another function held at Naduveethi at Kadayampatti town panchayat, the minister inaugurated five scheme works worth ₹1.52 crore.
District Collector R. Brindha Devi, Additional Collector N. Ponmani, local body representatives, and officials from concerned departments participated.
