Around 250 NCC cadets from various institutions took part in a social service and community development walkathon, along with a skit-based awareness programme, organised recently by the NCC Unit of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences.
The event was sponsored by the 40 Karnataka Battalion of NCC.
Registrar S. Ashok Rao (MSRUAS), Administrative Officer Lt. Col. Vipin Dhillon, Training JCO Sub (Hony Sub Maj) S. Murthy, along with ESM PI and PI staff of 40 Kar Bn NCC, attended the programme.
CTOs/ANOs from various schools and colleges and traffic police officials were also present and addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of community engagement and civic responsibility.
