‘Row over language exclusion not good’
Peeved over the exclusion of Magahi and Bhojpuri in the new employment policy of Jharkhand’s JMM-headed government, its alliance partner Rashtriya Janata Dal on Saturday demanded that Chief Minister Hemant Soren review it.
Abhay Kumar Singh, the State president of the RJD, said the party does not support the Hemant Soren government in regard with the new employment policy announced recently.
The government’s move to exclude Magahi and Bhojpuri for recruitment in Jharkhand government institutions has hurt the prevailing harmony of the State, Mr. Singh told reporters here.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
