Rajasthan State Corpn team visits industrial, IT hubs in Telangana to study best practices
A high-level delegation from the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) led by its managing director Shivangi Swarnkar conducted an extensive study tour of Telangana’s premier industrial and IT hubs on Friday.
The visit was aimed at understanding the best practices adopted by Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) that have positioned the State as a global destination for investment. The delegation visited landmark locations, including HITEC City, Mindspace, Genome Valley and the Electronic Manufacturing Clusters (EMC) at Raviryala and Maheshwaram (E-City), TGIIC said.
Following the field visits, the delegation met TGIIC VC and MD K. Shashanka and heads of departments at the TGIIC head office. During the interaction, Mr. Shashanka briefed the Rajasthan officials on the Telangana Rising: Vision 2047 initiative. He highlighted how the State is transitioning towards a $3 trillion economy and focused on ensuring a balanced regional development. He attributed the State’s industrial success to the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and guidance of Minister for Industries and IT D. Sridhar Babu.
Ms. Swarnkar expressed appreciation for the streamlined processes pursued by TGIIC for land management and infrastructure maintenance. Telangana’s IT and Life Sciences ecosystems serve as a benchmark for other States in the country, she said.
