
Rajasthan govt. sacks State school board chairman in REET paper leak case

The State government has already suspended one RAS and two RPS officers, 13 personnel of the education department, and three other policemen.
The Ashok Gehlot government on Saturday sacked the chairman of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, D.P. Jaroli, in connection with the paper leak during the teachers' recruitment exam (REET) in September.
The suspension order of the Board secretary Arvind Kumar Sengwa, an RAS officer, was also issued by the department of personnel.
The development came after a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday night.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
