Railways to operate special train between Ahmedabad and Mangaluru to clear extra rush of passengers during Holi

Special train service from Ahmedabad to Mangaluru during Holi to accommodate extra passenger demand with four round trips.
The Railways will operate a special train with four round trips between Ahmedabad and Mangaluru Junction to cater to extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival.
The Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. and Southern Railway, in a press release, stated that Train No. 09424 Ahmedabad-Mangaluru Jn Express Special will leave Ahmedabad at 4 p.m. on Fridays (February 27, March 6, 13, and 20), and will reach Mangaluru Junction the next day at 8 p.m.
In the return direction, Train No. 09423 Mangaluru Jn-Ahmedabad Express Special will leave Mangaluru Junction on Saturdays (February 28, March 7, 14, and 21 ) at 10.30 p.m., and will reach Ahmedabad the third day at 2.15 a.m.
The train will have two 2-tier AC, four 3-tier AC, 12 sleeper class and four second class coaches.
It will halt at Nandiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi Road, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindudurg, Kudal, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Canacona, Karwar, Ankola, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeswar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal.
