Ms. Mufti said she was going to meet the family that was allegedly trashed by the Army personnel in Tral town of Pulwama
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on September 29 claimed that she has been put under house arrest again as she had planned to visit Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The former chief minister had on September 28 alleged that Army personnel had thrashed a family in Tral town of Pulwama and injured a female member. Ms. Mufti said she was going to meet the family on September 29.
"Locked up in my house today yet again for attempting to visit the village in Tral allegedly ransacked by army. This is the real picture of Kashmir that visiting dignitaries must be shown instead of GOI’s sanitised & guided picnic tours," Ms. Mufti tweeted.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Friday pledged to mobilise people in resistance against the BJP-led Union government’s “anti-agricultural worker, anti-farmer, anti-worker, anti-people” laws and policies till they are all repealed, the party said on Friday.
