Sumathi says Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the right decision.
Sumathi, mother of Manjunath Rao, who died in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, has reacted to the Operation Sindoor.
Speaking to the media in Shivamogga on May 7, Ms. Sumathi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken the right decision. “We stand with the decision of our PM. If India is considered a family, the PM is the head of the family. He has taken the right decision,” she said.
Manjunath Rao, a realtor from Shivamogga, was killed in the terror attack at Pahalgam in Kashmir on April 22. He is survived by his wife, son and mother.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
