A 35-year-old man died in a bull-chasing event on Thursday evening.
Villagers of Senkaradu near Karuppur organized a bull-chasing event on Thursday evening near the Sembu Mariamman Temple premises. A construction worker, Vediappan (35), a resident of Senaigoundanur, who watched the event, was gored by a bull and was admitted to a private hospital. He succumbed to the injuries later. The Karuppur police registered a case.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
