A team from NALSAR University of Law clinched the top honours at the The Hindu Future India Club (FIC) College Quiz 2026 for undergraduate students.
In a thrilling finale, Aditya Jain and Adishree Krishnan from NALSAR University of Law clinched the top honours at the The Hindu Future India Club (FIC) College Quiz 2026 for undergraduate students held at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram at Bagh Lingampally here on Tuesday.
The duo, scoring 75 points, bagged the first prize. Mustafa Ahmed and Saif-Ur-Rehman from Osmania Medical College were the runners-up. The third prize was shared between Nida Fatima and Atrah Firdaus from Deccan College of Medical Sciences, and Mohammed Moiz Ahmed and Mohammed Mustafa Akhtar from Osmania Medical College.
The quiz competition presented by leading business school, Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), witnessed an overwhelming participation of 175 teams from over 62 colleges in the city. It featured a rigorous preliminary round followed by a high-stakes final showdown. While teams from Osmania Medical College and NALSAR University of Law were visibly the champions, their fierce competitors were Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Degree College and Deccan College of Medical Sciences.
Earlier, General Manager at The Hindu, S.D.T. Rao welcomed the teams and set an inspiring tone and positive atmosphere for the participants. Among the faculty from IPE were K.V. Ananta Kumar, Rajesh and Chandra Sekhar who addressed the gathering and spoke about the institute’s scholarships, top facilities and promising career opportunities aimed at nurturing leaders through academic excellence and development.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
