
Minister rededicates renovated temple tank in Vyasarpadi

Minister Sekarbabu rededicates renovated tank at Raveeswarar temple in Vyasarpadi, with upcoming temple structure lift and kumbabhishekam.
Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments P.K. Sekarbabu on Sunday rededicated the renovated tank of the Raveeswarar temple in Vyasarpadi in the city. The tank was renovated at a cost of ₹1.38 crore. Works including repair of steps and compound walls were taken up. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the structure of the 800-year-old temple was being lifted at a cost of 1.40 crore and it’s kumbabhishekam would be held in June. Mayor R. Priya graced the occasion.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
