Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI) organised its 36th plenary assembly at XIM University in Bhubaneswar.
Rev. Peter Machado, Metropolitan Archbishop of Bengaluru, has been elected vice-president of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI) during its 36th plenary assembly at XIM University in Bhubaneswar.
The assembly, which began on January 28, will conclude on February 4.
Cardinal Felipe Neri Ferrao was re-elected president while Archbishop Vincent Aind of Ranchi was elected Secretary-General.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
