Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has for the first time launched four new programmes in the online mode. They are M.Sc in Data Science, M.Sc in Business Analytics, Post Graduate Certificate Program (PGCP) in Business Analytics and PGCP in Logistics and Supply Chain.
The four career oriented programs are designed for graduates and professionals.
The 12-month PGCP programmes and 24-month M.Sc programmes will focus on the theoretical and practical functioning of the domains.
The Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme is designed to produce skilled and motivated professionals who can address the demands of a rapidly changing industry while also assisting organisations in improving their operational efficiency.
The programme in Business Analytics will train learners to provide accurate and data-driven answers to customers and help solve organisational problems, and create business strategies using data.
Data Science has emerged as one of the most in-demand domains from the industry. The M.Sc in Data Science programme with a blend of machine learning, big data analytics, and statistics, will prepare students and professionals for analytical and leadership roles in various sectors.
Referring to the four programmes, Vice Chancellor M. D. Venkatesh said that the MAHE is committed to providing inclusive and equitable quality online education, and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
