Maharashtra adds 10,107 new COVID-19 cases

10,567 patients recover; death toll crosses 1.15 lakh; Mumbai reports 821 fresh cases
The number of recoveries barely exceeded the case surge on Wednesday with just 10,567 patients being discharged across Maharashtra as against 10,107 new COVID-19 cases. With a rise in daily cases as opposed to the last few days, the State’s active case tally reached 1,36,661. More than 1,200 deaths were added to the State’s progressive death toll of which 1,070 were part of the Health Department’s ongoing ‘reconciliation’ process.
