The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Thursday sought response from the Centre and the State in two separate public interest litigation petitions filed seeking the production of oxygen in the State and to ensure strict implementation of the government order to allocate a minimum of 50% of the total bed strength in private hospitals to treat COVID-19 patients.
