
Lokesh takes a holy dip at Maha Kumbh Mela

IT Minister Nara Lokesh and family participate in Maha Kumbh Mela, emphasizing India's cultural and spiritual heritage.

IT Minister Nara Lokesh, his wife Brahmani and son Devansh participated in theMaha Kumbh Melain Prayagraj of Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
They had a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the Saraswati rivers, at the Shahi Snan Ghat and performed some rituals.
Mr. Lokesh stated in a press release that the Maha Kumbh Mela was not merely a spiritual gathering but a representation of India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage and that it was inextricably linked with faith, traditions and spiritual wisdom.
After completing their sacred bath and prayers at the Kumbh Mela, Mr. Lokesh and his family visited the Kasi Viswanath temple at Varanasi.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
