
Kuwait bestows highest honour ‘The Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer’ to PM Modi

Kuwait government awards PM Modi highest honour during two-day visit, marking his 20th international recognition.
The Kuwait government on Sunday (December 22, 2024) bestowed its highest honour “The Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer” to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mr. Modi is on a two-day visit to Kuwait at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
This is the 20th international honour given to Mr. Modi by a country.
The ‘Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer’ is a knighthood order of Kuwait.
The Order is awarded to Heads of State and foreign sovereigns and to members of foreign royal families in sign of friendship.
It has been previously awarded to foreign leaders like Bill Clinton, Prince Charles and George Bush.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
