PMK Founder S.Ramadoss on Thursday said the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Tamil Nadu, raises doubtson whether the intense lockdown was implemented properly on the ground. In a statement, he pointed out that the number of cases increasing by 1,816 on Wednesday, comes as a shock. “This is the first time in the last 10 days that the increase in cases has been so steep. It shows that the measures are not implemented strictly,” Dr. Ramadoss said.
The government plans to amend the FCRA, introducing new regulations for NGO asset management and accountability for key functionaries.
