Emphasising the need for new airports in all the metro cities, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday said the government is scouting for a location in Kolkata for a second aerodrome in the capital city of West Bengal.
Addressing an industry body event in Mumbai on Wednesday, Mr. Scindia also urged West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to come forward and participate in the “huge” opportunities in the civil aviation space in the country.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
