New kannadi malligai inaugurated at Soundararaja Perumal Temple in Thadikombu, Dindigul district, with special pujas and deity appearances.
A kannadi malligai (glass house) built at a cost of ₹7 lakh was inaugurated at the Soundararaja Perumal Temple in Thadikombu in Dindigul district on Monday.
Special pujas were conducted at the temple during the inauguration. New projects were being implemented at the temple in the recent times and as part of this, the kannadi malligai was inaugurated. Tirupati, Srirangam and Srivilliputhur temples have kannadi malligai facilities on the temple premises.
During festivals and events, the deities at the temple will appear in the kannadi malligai. Large numbers of devotees were present during the inauguration and prasadam was distributed to them.
