Four-day book festival begins in Thiruvananthapuram

Kerala State Library Council's book festival in Thiruvananthapuram features 90+ publishers and 112 stalls, inaugurated by Minister Sivankutty.
The book festival organised by the Kerala State Library Council commenced here on Tuesday at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram.
The four-day event of the Thiruvananthapuram District Library Council was formally inaugurated by Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty. Over 90 publishers are participating in the book festival with 112 stalls. The event was presided over by B.P. Murali, President of the Thiruvananthapuram District Library Council.

After mandating pet dog licensing and microchipping, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) bids to do the same for cattle to curb stray cattle issues and man-animal conflicts in the streets. The civic body has moved to make it compulsory for cattle owners to obtain licenses for their animals across all zones.
