Cyberabad Police declare dry day for Ram Navami, closing wine and toddy shops on April 6, but allowing bars in hotels and clubs.
The Cyberabad Police have declared a dry day on Sunday (April 6, 2025), in view of Ram Navami celebrations in the city.
In an order issued by the Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty on Saturday (April 5), the official said that all wine and toddy shops, along with bars attached to restaurants will remain closed from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the day of the festival.
However, the order makes exceptions for bars located within star hotels and registered clubs, which are permitted to remain operational. The move has been made in the interest of maintaining public peace and tranquillity during the religious celebration.
