Chitra Santhe will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath campus and Kumara Krupa Road in Bengaluru.

Chitra Samman awards will be bestowed on senior artists from Karnataka on January 4, 2025,” said B. L. Shankar, president of Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath.
A dedicated area will be provided for persons with disabilities and specially abled artists. A new website has been launched to automate artist registration, registration payment, and stall allocation activities. He added that professional artists, hobby artists, senior citizen artists, and specially abled artists can participate in the event.
Chitra Santhe’s motto is ‘An artwork for each home’, and the sale value of each artwork goes directly to the respective artist. Around five lakh people are expected to visit Chitra Santhe, where Mr. Shankar said traditional paintings from Mysore and Tanjore, Rajasthani and Madhubani styles, and various other traditional, modern, and contemporary artworks would be available for viewing and sale.
The stalls will extend from Windsor Manor Hotel to Shivananda Circle and part of Crescent Road. Additional stalls would be put up on Seva Dal grounds exclusively for senior citizen artists. CCTV cameras will be installed for security purposes, he said.
