
Bulldozers reach Jehangirpuri for eviction drive

The North Delhi Municipal Corporation has requested atleast 400 police personnel to maintain law and order.
Bulldozers have reached Jehangirpuri to carry out a proposed “encroachment removal action programme” by the North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Delhi Police said that they will provide adequate protection to the agency to carry out the drive.
The North Delhi Municipal Corporation on Tuesday requested at least 400 police personnel to maintain law and order.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Friday pledged to mobilise people in resistance against the BJP-led Union government’s “anti-agricultural worker, anti-farmer, anti-worker, anti-people” laws and policies till they are all repealed, the party said on Friday. In a statement issued here, the CPI(M) said the members took the pledge following a three-day meeting held at Thiruvananthapuram.
