The State government cleared the way for filling 28 nominated posts on May 11, two of which were given to former Ministers K.S. Jawahar (Chairman of SC Commission) and Peethala Sujatha (Chairperson of AP Women’s Cooperative Finance Corporation).
The other appointees are Rayapati Sailaja (Amaravati JAC) - Chairperson of A.P. Women’s Commission, S. Bojji Reddy (BJP) - Chairperson of ST Commission, Alapati Suresh (Amaravati JAC) - Chairman of A.P. Press Academy, Z. Siva Prasad (TDP) - Chairman of A.P. Inland Waterways Authority and S. Rajasekhar (TDP) - Chairman of Education & Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation.
M. Suguna (TDP) - Chairperson of the A.P. Urban Greening and Beautification Corporation, Venkata Sivudu (TDP) - Chairman of Labour Welfare Board, V. Babji (TDP) - Chairman of A.P. Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board, B. Sesha Rao (TDP) - Chairman of Skill Development Corporation and A. Swami (TDP) - Chairman of A.P. Tailors Development Cooperative Federation. Divakar Reddy (TDP) - Chairman of Tirupati Urban Development Authority, P. Vani Venkata Siva Prasad (TDP) - Chairperson of Eluru Urban Development Authority, Vemuri Ravi (TDP) - Chairman of A.P. Non - Resident Welfare Society, M. Subba Naidu (TDP) - Chairman of A.P. Agro Industries Development Corporation and K. Peddi Raju (TDP) - Chairman of A.P. State Fishermen Cooperative Societies Federation Limited. P. Eswar (TDP) - Chairman of Kummari & Salivahana Welfare Corporation, M. Eswara Rao (TDP) - Chairman of Vaddera Welfare & Development Corporation, V. Leela Krishna (Jana Sena Party) - Chairman of A.P. State Irrigation Development Corporation, Md. Riyaz (Jana Sena Party) - Chairman of A.P. Livestock Development Agency and P. Hari Prasad (Jana Sena Party) - Chairman of A.P. Handicrafts Development Corporation.
The government also appointed Ganni Veeranjaneyulu as the Chairman of Eluru District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd., Kamepalli Seetharamaiah as Chairman of Prakasam District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd., and Thummala Rama Swamy (Babu) as the Chairman of Kakinada District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd.
Besides, Chaganti Murali Krishna (Chinna), JSP, Narasapuram, has been appointed as the Chairman of Eluru District Cooperative Marketing Society, Kasireddy Shyamala as the Chairperson of Prakasam District Cooperative Marketing Society, and Chandramouli Picheti as Chairman of Kakinada District Cooperative Marketing Society.
