Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu seeks generous funds from 16th Finance Commission Chairman Arvind Panagariya for Andhra Pradesh.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav met 16th Finance Commission Chairman Arvind Panagariya at New Delhi on Monday and discussed the allocation of funds to Andhra Pradesh (A.P.).
According to a press release, Mr. Naidu gave a detailed presentation on the State’s financial position to Mr. Panagariya and his team. He sought generous allocation of funds that would enable the State to overcome the host of financial challenges being faced by it.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the manner in which the previous government had misused the funds allocated by the Centre on a large-scale.
The policies of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government caused the economy to collapse, Mr. Naidu alleged requesting Mr. Panagariya to be liberal in extending the financial support.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
