The government on Tuesday appointed Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari as the next Chief of the Air Staff (CAS). The current CAS, Air Chief Marshal R.K.S. Bhadauria, is set to retire on September 30.
“Government has decided to appoint Air Marshal V R Chaudhari, presently Vice Chief of the Air Staff as the next Chief of the Air Staff,” a Defence Ministry statement said.
