Actor Bellamkonda Srinivas booked for traffic violation in Jubilee Hills; car seized

Telugu actor Bellamkonda Srinivas faces case for negligent driving and obstructing traffic constable, incident captured in viral video.

The Jubilee Hills police have registered a case against Telugu cinema actor Bellamkonda Srinivas for negligent driving and obstructing a traffic constable from performing his duties at the Journalists Colony junction on Road Number 45.

The incident occurred on May 13, 2025, when the actor, while driving his car, reportedly attempted to take a U-Turn which is not permitted at the location, according to Jubilee Hills Traffic Inspector A. Praveen Kumar. Constable Naresh, who was on duty at the time, intervened and instructed the actor to follow the route. Despite the constable’s warning, the actor is said to have tried to continue on the wrong path. Naresh then stood in front of the vehicle, insisting that the actor take the correct route.

Following the altercation, the police issued a notice to Bellamkonda Srinivas and seized his vehicle on May 15, 2025. The case was filed based on the constable’s complaint. A video of the confrontation between the actor and the traffic officer has since gone viral on social media.
