1,190 stolen mobile phones worth ₹3.55 crore recovered
A total of 1,190 stolen and lost mobile phones valued at ₹3.55 crore were recovered by the Cyberabad police in 50 days. The recovered phones were handed over to their rightful owners on Friday.
While the Central Crime Station (CCS) recovered 1,010 phones, the law and order police across five zones of the commissionerate recovered 180 devices.
DCP Crimes K. Narasimha advised citizens to report cases of lost or stolen mobile phones at the nearest police station or through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal to prevent the misuse of stolen phones and expedite recovery efforts.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
