KPHB police arrest a repeat offender, recovering ₹2.8 lakh in stolen gold from a string of interstate burglaries.
A 25-year-old man involved in a string of interstate house burglaries was arrested by KPHB police, seizing stolen gold ornaments worth ₹2.8 lakh. The accused was identified as Pedavalli Sanjay Kumar alias Sanjay, a resident of Hafeezpet and a native of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
Police said the accused is a repeat offender linked to at least 10 house burglary cases across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, indicating a pattern of targeting locked homes.
Officials have urged residents to remain cautious while leaving their homes unattended and to promptly report any suspicious individuals or activity to the nearest police station, as part of efforts to curb property offences in the area.
