Andhra University celebrated its joint 91st and 92nd annual convocations at the Sir Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy Utsavarangam on the university campus on Wednesday.
Presiding over the ceremony, Andhra Pradesh Governor and University Chancellor S. Abdul Nazeer presented degrees and gold medals to graduating students, highlighting that the institution is not just an educational center but a world-renowned learning institute.
He credited the university’s century-long stature to the vision of legends like Sir C. R. Reddy and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, noting the immense pride in the university’s association with global icons such as Sir C.V. Raman and C.R. Rao.
Addressing the graduates, the Governor emphasised that earning a degree is the start of a new journey rather than a final destination. He encouraged the graduates to move forward with self-confidence and strong moral values while staying focused on personal growth.
